Purpose of a Civilian Defense

The duty of the Indiana Civil Defense Militia is to protect and defend the unalienable Rights of all citizens of the United States and the State of Indiana. Under no circumstances will the Indiana Civil Defense Militia tolerate those who advocate acts of criminal behavior to include acts of violence or terrorism, or racism. All members must understand the obligations of both citizens and government under the the United States and Indiana Constitution.

The Indiana Civil Defense Militia's purpose is to provide an independent layer of protection between our families, our elderly, and the weak in our communities against natural and man made disasters and threats to our God given freedom, that is in grave danger in this unstable World.
